Meet the Author Luncheon with Michelle Gable
New York Times bestselling author Michelle Gable will speak on her latest novel, The Summer I Met Jack. The historical fiction novel is based on a true story about how Alicia Corning Clark (then Alicia Darr), a beautiful, Polish refugee arrives in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, begins work as a maid for one of the two wealthiest families in America, and is immediately charmed by the large and charismatic family, Jack Kennedy, in particular. This is a free public event appropriate for adults.
There will be an optional lunch available for purchase, starting at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $8.00 per person. Registration is required for the lunch. To register for lunch, call 704-868-2164, option 4. You may leave a voicemail. Deadline to register is Monday, May 20.
